Arik Air, West and Central Africa’s largest carrier, seeks the services of experienced and cmpetent candidates to fill the following existing vacant positions.

ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER
To provide support to management and operations in daytoday administrative matters, logistics and other services necessary for efficient running of the business
Coordinate all support functions such as House Keeping, Protocol and Travels, Facility and Premises, Administrative Services

REQUIREMENTS: 
  • 1st degree or its equivalent in any discipline Possession of postgraduate degree is an advantage
  • 5 years’ experience in similar position
  • Between 3038 years of age
  • Suave and quality conscious
  • Excellent negotiation and management skills
  • Ability to provide quickfix solutions to operational problems
ENGINEERING TRAINEE

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Work together with Technicians to provide technical support and rectification action in response to operational problems, incidents and AOG situations, minimizing the impact of operational disruptions and cost.
  • Assist in Air Safety Reports investigations as required.
  • Be able to provide technical support in other technical areas.
  • Liaise closely with Flight operation  (Fleet managers) Engineering Development, Maintenance Control, QA, Materials
  • Management and Line Maintenance providing maintenance services to the airline.
  • Support all certifying engineers through the provision of spares, parts and man power provisions ensuring the fleet is maintained to the highest standard
  • Review personal training needs as required. 
  • Maintain own skill levels, keeping up to date with leading edge technologies in aviation.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree in any engineering course
  • NYSC Certificate
  • An understanding of the safety and reliability issues surrounding aircraft maintenance, support, components and systems.
MANAGER, HUMAN RESOURCES
  • Employment raw working conditions, disciplinary and grievance procedures, equal opportunities, redundancies, paternity pay and maternity rights
  • Recruitment  hiring staff, producing job descriptions, placing adverts, working with recruitment consultancies, organizing interviews and running assessment centers.
  • Training and development putting together a staff training programme and identifying suitable courses for staff
  • Salary reviews researching salaries and ensuring they are in line with legal requirements and industry standards
  • Documentation’ writing staff handbooks,
  • contracts, staff memos, and issuing written offers of employment, promotion etc.
  • Staff welfare providing counseling facilities and sports and social activities for staff.
  • May also work closely with company lawyers and trade unions.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • A relevant first degree. A master’s degree in Human Resources or an MBA will be of advantage.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (ClPM, CIM)
  • At least Three years’ work experience in a similar job role.

VICE PRESIDENT FINANCE
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Direct and oversee all financial activities of the Airline
  • Prepare statutory financial reports
  • Design, implement and review accounting procedures
  • Coordinate budget preparation
  • Tax planning and tax management
  • Liaison with financial institutions and external bodies
  • Monitor financial parameters and KPI’s
REQUIREMENTS: 
  • At least a first degree in Finance or related discipline
  • Chartered Accountant, member of ICAN, ACCA etc
  • Aged between 3550years
  • Over 15 years professional experience some of which should have been acquired in aviation or allied sector.
  • Outstanding leadership and managerial skills
  • A result oriented personality with good
  • understanding of the aviation industry.
  • Excellent business communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
VICE PRESIDENT TREASURY
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Treasury management
  • Aircraft financing, managing of various credit facilities
  • Financial management and monthly performance reporting
  • Foreign exchange management
  • Payment of local and regional suppliers
  • Cash flow management
REQUIREMENTS: 
  • At least a first degree in Finance or related discipline
  • Chartered Accountant, member of ICAN, ACCA etc
  • Aged between 3550years
  • Over 15 years professional experience some of which should have been acquired in aviation or allied sector.
  • Outstanding leadership and managerial skills
  • A result oriented personality with good
  • understanding of the aviation industry.
  • Excellent business communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
ACCOUNTANTS
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Revenue unit Participate in the implementation program of RAPID, from kick off to go live.
  • Liaise with other stakeholders in the implementation and post implementation
  • Phases Interface with the service provider (RAPID). 
  • Agent) Management Accounts unit Prepare regular reports on route costing and profitability
  • Prepare monthly report and analysis on returns on investment.
  • Provide support for budget and forecasts preparation
  • Engineering division
  • Prepare regular reports on technical services and other cost estimations Supply Chain management accounting
  • Provide support for Technical stores
ACCOUNT OFFICERS
JOB SPECIFICATIONS;
  • Revenue Audit
  • Sales verification and Coupon audit
  • General audit and special investigations
  • Enforcing compliance with policies and procedures
  • Interface with the service provider (Revenue accounting system)
FINANCE 
  • Accounts reconciliation
  • Book keeping, postings and adjusting entries
  • Any other tasks that may be assigned by the
  • Finance Manager
TAX 
  • Timely submission of tax returns to relevant tax Authorities.
  • Liaison with company’s tax consultants.
  • Keeping books and records in accordance with tax policies
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by VP Finance
REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least a first degree in Finance
  • About 1 3 years experience in Aviation or Allied sector
  • Good computer skills Microsoft tools, ERP
  • Attention to details and high level of accuracy.
