Job Description:
Job Description: The Process Engineer is part of the Engineering Team, which provides studies and feasibility analysis, conceptual and detailed process design for water, wastewater and waste to energy projects. The Team is involved in the pre-feasibility and the design stages of the project life cycle for existing plant modification as well as new builds, including developing operating standards, commissioning and assessing and helping to rectify plant failures. The post will involve the following responsibilities and accountabilities:-
 Provide process engineering consultancy and undertake feasibility studies for clients
 Review/specify plant equipment, process systems, operating protocols and provide recommendations for industry good practice
 Undertake process engineering design, review and optimisation studies
 Conduct hazard/operability, risk and technical due diligence assessments
 Develop engineering and operating standards to achieve appropriate quality to meet client's objectives
 Coordinate, organise work schedule and deliver defined packages of work to required technical quality within specified timescales and budgets
 Develop and maintain client/customer relationships
Desired Skills and Experience:
 A minimum of Honours degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or equivalent qualifications and experience
 Minimum of 10 years process engineering experience
 Chartered Engineer status
 Proven process engineering experience of a wide range of treatment technologies used in the water industry applicable to water (including desalination and water reuse)
 Experienced in leading or participating in HAZOP, COMAH studies
 Experienced in process plant design and construction, and process commissioning project management systems
 Good understanding of each stage of an engineering project associated with new build and existing plant modification
 Good understanding of commercial, contractual and operational issues
 Good understanding of quality, health, safety and environmental management systems
 Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
 Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and engineering software such as AutoCAD etc.
 Ability to travel to work on local/international short assignments
